A Glimpse Of Sivakarthikeyan's Ayalaan Out

With Sivakarthikeyan's long-awaited film, Ayalaan, locking a Deepavali release date, the makers unveiled a video glimpse on Monday. "Thank you all for your love for the poster. Here is a glimpse of our Ayalaan, live in action," Sivakarthikeyan wrote while sharing the video on Twitter.

The 30-second-long video hints at the tonality and the scale of the R Ravikumar directorial. The promo introduces Sivakarthikeyan in action mode as he slides into the frame in what appears to be a sci-fi setting. The film's titular character, the alien, is given a grand introduction as it descends from a spaceship and is later briefly shown in a laboratory-like interior atmosphere.

Ayalaan marks Ravikumar's sophomore directorial after Indru Netru Naalai (2015). The film, which went on floors in 2018, co-stars Rakul Preet Singh, Yogi Babu, Sharad Kelkar and Isha Koppikar. AR Rahman composes the music for the VFX-driven spectacle and the first single, sung by the musician himself, titled 'Vera Level Sago' was released in February 2021 and has garnered over 8 million views on YouTube.

Ayalaan's crew includes cinematographer Nirav Shah, editor Ruben, and production designer T Muthuraj. The film's visual effects are rendered by Bejoy Arputharaj of Phantom FX.
