Gopichand-Sreenu Vaitla Film Officially Launched

While it was announced earlier that director Sreenu Vaitla will be teaming up with actor Gopichand for his next, the film was officially launched on Saturday. The film, tenatively titled Gopichand 32, is the maiden production from Venu Donepudi through his banner Chitralayam Studios. The film, billed as a commercial entertainer, marks the first collaboration of the actor and director.

The launch event and the pooja ceremony witnessed the attendance of many bigwigs of the industry. Legendary director K Raghavendra Rao sounded the clapboard for the muhurtham shot while the camera was switched on by producer Naveen Yerneni of Mythri Movie Makers. Producers Suresh Babu and TG Vishwa Prasad also graced the event. 

Noted writer Gopi Mohan, who earlier worked with Sreenu Vaitla in films like Dhee (2007), Dubai Seenu (2007) and Dookudu (2011), is penning the screenplay. KV Guhan will serve as the cinematographer while Chaitan Bharadwaj will score the music. A press release stated that the filming will take place in multiple foreign countries. The makers are yet to announce the casting and other technical departments.

Meanwhile, Gopichand's upcoming film, Bhima, directed by Kannada filmmaker A Harsha is under production.
