Hera Pheri 3 Shooting Begins in Mumbai with Akshay Kumar, Suniel Shetty and Paresh Rawal

According to a Bollywood Hungama report, Akshay Kumar, Suniel Shetty and Paresh Rawal have begun shooting for Hera Pheri 3. The OG trio is back on the sets of the hit franchise Hera Pheri.

A source close to Pinkvilla quotes, “The original Hera Pheri gang reunites to take this cult franchise forward. While ample meetings about the script have happened over the last few months, the team is now confident that Hera Pheri 3 will do complete justice to all the hype and anticipation around the part 3 of Hera Pheri.”

The source further added, “Right from producer Firoz Nadiadwala to the actors – Akshay, Paresh and Suniel are all excited with positivity to return on the set as Raju, Shyam and Baburao.”

The director's name is still kept under wraps. Also, the leading ladies in the film are yet to be announced. The shooting of the third installment began at the Empire Studios in Mumbai where the original film was shot in 1999.

Hera Pheri directed by Priyadarshan released in 2000 whereas the second installment, Phir Hera Pheri directed by Neeraj Vora released in 2006.
