Kartik Aaryan may play Anil Kapoor’s role in Tezaab remake

Kartik Aaryan may have bagged the lead in Murad Khetani’s Tezaab (1988) remake, a source reportedly told Bollywood Hungama. The Shehzada actor had allegedly clinched the role from Ranveer Singh, who was being considered opposite Janhvi Kapoor.

Talking more about the change in casting, the source said, “Kartik Aaryan has previously worked with the producers on Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2, and he shares a good rapport with them. When he heard of the casting, Kartik reached out expressing his desire to be part of the venture. Given their past history together and the fact that the film did rather well at the box office, the makers of the Tezaab remake were more than happy to accommodate the actor.”

There hasn’t been any official announcement yet, and it isn’t sure who’d star opposite Aaryan. Aaryan is busy shooting for Satyaprem Ki Katha opposite Kiara Advani.
