Khatija Rahman Debuts As Music Composer With Halitha Shameem’s Minmini

Oscar-winning composer AR Rahman’s daughter, Khatija Rahman, who recently rose to fame for her soulful rendition of 'Chinnanjiru Nilave’ in Ponniyin Selvan 2, is now all set to make her debut as a music composer. The singer-turned-composer will make her debut with director Halitha Shameem’s upcoming film Minmini.

Halitha Shameem of Sillu Karupatti (2019) fame took to Twitter to announce the news, sharing a photo of herself with Khatija Rahman. She was all praise for Khatija Rahman and promised the audience some great music for Minmini. "So happy to be working with this exceptional talent, Khatija Rahman for #MinMini. The euphonious singer is a brilliant music composer too. Some great music underway!," she wrote.

Minmini is expected to be a coming-of-age film that follows two youngsters who carry survivors’ guilt. Manoj Paramahamsa is the cinematographer.
