Makers of Suriya42 Release A New Poster, Title Reveal Date Announced

After his much-talked-about cameos in Vikram and Rocketry: The Nambii Effect, Suriya will next be seen as a warrior in a period drama, tentatively titled Suriya 42. Helmed by Siruthai Siva, the makers have now announced that the title will be revealed on April 16.

The film, which co-stars Disha Patani, is said to be released in 10 languages. The poster featured a warrior seated on his horse, accompanied by a dog. With thunder and lightning in the backdrop, the rider seems to be crossing a broken bridge (made of rocks). 

Announcing the title announcement date, producers Studio Green, wrote on Twitter, “Warrior enters across the showers of glory and trumpets of Thunderstorms! Get ready to welcome #Suriya42 Title Announcement on April 16, at 9.05 a.m. 🎉A Mighty Valiant Saga In 10 Languages 🔥” The title is expected to be announced with an animation video.
