Streaming Adda 2022: On letting her Guard Down, Masaba shares a Funny Anecdote

During the Streaming Adda 2022, Masaba Gupta shared how is it important to put the guard down and leave your ego aside to make a scene work. Sharing an anecdote from the set of her Netflix popular show Masaba Masaba,Gupta said,

“There was a time when I was shooting for Masaba Masaba and I remember I had to do a scene where I had to make out with an actor whom I didn’t particularly like….[laughs] sorry guys [to others in the rountable] controversial but ya….And I said what am I gonna do just to get this through and just drop my ego…you know what, he’s probably as nervous or as irritated or as upset with this opportunity, you know what I mean. I decided to put myself in his shoes and I was fine. So I think dropping your guard, dropping your creative ego is possibly a big part of making that chemistry happen.”

Talking about her aspirations, Gupta revealed that she is keen on doing an item song and wants to sing and dance on screen, “I’m gonna an item song ok guys, do not judge me. I wanted to be that singing, dancing heroine, I wanted to play that and then Saiba (Masaba’s Modern Love character name) came my way but I said this is the opportunity that will lead to other opportunities,” she said.
