Nushrratt Bharuccha to star opposite Sreenivas Bellamkonda in Chatrapathi

Nushrratt Bharuccha has been signed to star in the Hindi remake of the Telugu blockbuster film Chatrapathi alongside Sreenivas Bellamkonda. The Hindi version of the movie will be directed by filmmaker V.V. Vinayak.

Speaking about playing the leading lady in Chatrapathi, Bharuccha said, “I am excited, but I also have goosebumps. This is my first Pan India action drama, and I couldn't have asked for anything better than a film like Chatrapathi. I am so thrilled to have worked with a team of such brilliant technicians and an amazing co-star, Sreenivas."

The original Chatrapathi was directed by S.S. Rajamouli and starred Prabhas in the lead role. The Vinayak directorial also stars  Bhagyashree, Sharad Kelkar, and Karan Singh Chhabra in pivotal roles. Chatrapathi is slated to be released on May 12.
