Ponniyin Selvan 2 crosses 300 crores at the Box Office

A month after its release, Mani Ratnam’s Ponniyin Selvan 2 has crossed the 300-crore mark at the Box Office worldwide. Taking to social media the production company Lyca Productions shared a tweet confirming the news, “#PS2 continues conquering the box office worldwide with a 300 crore+ collection!" It also shared posters on which the words '300+ cr worldwide gross in cinemas worldwide.”

Ponniyin Selvan is an adaptation of Kalki Krishnamurthy’s book series of the same name. Ponniyin Selvan 1 grossed over 500 crores worldwide during its theatrical run. It remains the highest-grossing Tamil film of all time.

Ponniyin Selvan 2 stars Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Vikram, Karthi, and Sobhita Dhulipala. It was released in theatres on April 28.
