Ram Charan Off to Japan for RRR

Ram Charan is all set to promote his film RRR (2022) in Japan. The megastar left for Japan along with co-star Jr. NTR and director SS Rajamouli. RRR has received much appreciation from fans around the globe and is currently in the running for Oscar nominations. Rajamouli’s previous franchise, Baahubali, was also a huge hit in Japan.

RRR stars Jr. NTR, Charan in the lead alongside Ajay Devgn, Alia Bhatt and Shriya Saran in pivotal roles. Set in the 1920s, the plot is about Alluri Sitarama Raju (Charan) and Komaram Bheem (Rama Rao), when they chose to go into obscurity before they began the fight for their country. RRR released in India on March 25 and became the highest rated movie on IMDb whose record was recently broken by Rishab Shetty’s Kantara. According to Box office report by Bollywood Hungama, RRR made a lifetime collection of Rs. 274.31 crores.
