Sanjay Dutt might play the Antagonist in Hera Pheri 4

According to a Bollywood Hungama report, Sanjay Dutt has signed Hera Pheri 4, a sequel to the franchise which also stars Akshay Kumar, Suniel Shetty and Paresh Rawal.

A close source to the portal revealed that Dutt will play one of the antagonists in the film and might bring in the fun and quirky aspect to the film. “Sanjay Dutt has indeed signed the film. It is said that he’ll be playing one of the antagonists in the film. His character is blind and is quite quirky. He’s expected to add to the madness quotient of the Hera Pheri series,” the source said.

The source further said, “Sanjay Dutt is superb in comedy roles and the makers felt he’ll be right for this role. Moreover, his casting will add to the brand value. He’s an exciting addition to the Hera Pheri universe and it’ll be interesting for the audiences to see him locking horns with Raju (Kumar), Shyam (Shetty) and Baburao Ganpatrao Apte (Rawal).

Hera Pheri 4 will be directed by Farhad Samji, the first part Hera Pheri (2000) was directed by Priyadarshan and the second part Phir Hera Pheri (2006) was directed by Neeraj Vora. The makers are yet to announce the female lead in Hera Pheri 4.
