Siddharth's Takkar Gets A New Release Date

The makers of Siddharth's long-awaited Takkar have announced that the film will be released in theatres on June 9. The film, directed by Karthik G Krish, best known for directing the 2015 buddy-comedy Kappal, has been in awaiting a release for nearly three years. It was earlier supposed to release on May 26.

Takkar features Divyansha Kaushik as the female lead and the supporting cast includes Yogi Babu, Abimanyu Singh, Munishkanth and RJ Vigneshkanth. The film has music by Nivas K Prasanna while Vanchinathan Murugesan is the cinematographer.

Takkar is Sudhan Sundaram, G Jayaram, TG Vishwa Prasad, and Abhishek Agarwal through Passion Studios, People Media Factory, and Abhishek Agarwal Arts. The film will be released in Tamil and Telugu. 

Siddharth was last seen in Ajay Bhupathi's Maha Samudram (2021) and he has Shankar's Indian 2, SU Arun Kumar's Chiththa and Sashikanth's Test coming up.
