Sonakshi Sinha to play pivotal role in Heeramandi

Sonakshi Sinha will be making her streaming debut with Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Heeramandi that shall be streaming on Netflix. The show is set in the heart of Lahore and will explore the lives of courtesans in the pre-partition era.

The makers recently released the motion poster of the show which stars Sinha, Aditi Rao Hydari, Manisha Koirala, Sharmin Segal, Richa Chadha and Sanjeeda Shaikh in the lead.

Talking about Sinha’s role, Heeramandi teaser sees her dressed in a traditional attire, adorned with exquisite and elegant jewellery. She will be portraying a pivotal character in the series. This is the first time Sinha will be collaborating with Bhansali. The actress was last seen in Double XL (2022) co-starring Huma Qureshi. She has a few films lined up which includes, Nikita and The Book of Darkness, Battle of Bittora and Kakuda.
