Soodhu Kavvum 2 Announced, Mirchi Shiva to Play the Lead

The makers of the blockbuster black comedy film Soodhu Kavvum have announced a sequel in the works. Helmed by SJ Arjun (Nalan Kumarasamy directed the original), the sequel is titled Soodhu Kavvum 2: Nadum Naatu Makkalum, and will feature a fresh cast. Producer CV Kumar announced the film with a new poster. 

The producer wrote on Twitter, “It’s happening…🍀 The Gang 😈 is Coming Again With New Rules! Gladly Presenting You all. #Soodhukavvum2:Nadum Naatu Makkalum.” While Mirchi Shiva plays the lead, Karunakaran, Ramesh Thilak and Radha Ravi, who were a part of the original, are expected to reprise their roles. 

Karthik K Thillai and Ignatious Aswin have been roped in to handle cinematography and editing, respectively, and the film will have music by Edwin Louis Viswanath. According to reports, Vijay Sethupathi is expected to appear in a cameo.
