Thalapathy Vijay Brings His Signature Energy in The song ‘Naa Ready’

On the occasion of Thalapathy Vijay’s birthday, the makers of his next film Leo released the first single from the album. The song, ‘Naa Ready’ comes on the heels of the film’s first look poster that was released earlier in the day. Sung by Vijay himself, the song also features vocals from composer Anirudh Ravichander as well as a rap portion from Asal Kolaru. Vishnu Edavan, who had previously collaborated with the music director on the soundtrack of Vikram, writes the lyrics for the song. Dinesh is the choreographer.

The song was accompanied by a lyrical video which also shows glimpses of few behind-the-scenes footage. The lyrical video shows two styles of graphics, one with pictures of the music video and the other featuring illustrations of Vijay from the title announcement teaser. Vijay dances in what looks like a factory, with hundreds of dancers in the background as they celebrate. Actor Mansoor Ali Khan also makes an appearance in a frame where he is eating Biryani, a signature shot in Lokesh Kannagaraj’s filmography.

Leo is an action film written and directed by Lokesh Kannagaraj in his second collaboration with Thalapathy Vijay after Master. Backed by Lalit Kumar and Jagadish Palanisamy of Seven Screens Studio, the film also features an ensemble cast of Trisha, Priya Anand, Arjun Sarja, Sanjay Dutt, Mathew Thomas, Mansoor Ali Khan, Gautam Vasudev Menon and Mysskin among others. Manoj Paramahamsa and Philomin Raj serve as the cinematographer and editor respectively, while Anirudh Ravichander has composed the music, collaborating with Lokesh for the third time. The film is all set to release on October 19.
