The makers of the pan-Indian film series Pushpa release a new poster of Fahadh Faasil from Pushpa 2: The Rule to mark the star's birthday on August 8. Fahadh Faasil is Bhanwar Singh Shekhawat in the Pushpa universe, a police officer who takes on Allu Arjun’s Pushpa. The corrupt yet power-hungry officer is left humiliated at the end of the first film and spews vengeance at the mafia overlord, promising to return the favor.

Pushpa 2: The Rule is written and directed by Sukumar. The film features Allu Arjun, Rashmika Mandanna, Dhananjaya, among others. Devi Sri Prasad scores the music for the film.
