Tillu Square: Dj Tillu Returns With Double Fun As Its Sequel Gets A Release Date

Tillu Square, the sequel to the runaway hit DJ Tillu (2022) was initially slated to hit the screens in March earlier this year but was delayed. The makers have now announced that the film will be released on September 15. Producer Naga Vamsi took to Twitter to announce the same. 

Tillu Square follows Tillu, played by Siddhu Jonnalagadda, a DJ who in the last film had to cover up a crime done by his girlfriend. The original received rave reviews from critics, who praised the character as well as the comedy. Director Mallik Ram, who is known for films such as Naruda Donoruda and Adbutham will be directing the film, replacing Vimal Krishna who helmed the original. 

Backed by Suryadevara Naga Vamsi under Sithara Entertainments in association with Fortune Four Cinemas, the film co-stars Anupama Parmeswaran. Sricharan Pakkala and Naveen Nooli return to score music and handle the editing, respectively. Jonnalagadda, who co-wrote the original with Vimal Krishna, has penned the sequel.
