Trailer of JD Chakravarthy's Dayaa Unveiled

The trailer of the Disney+ Hotstar Telugu series Dayaa was unveiled on Sunday. The series, featuring JD Chakravarthy in his digital debut, co-stars Ramya Nambeesan and Eesha Rebba. Pavan Sadineni, the director of Prema Ishq Kadhal (2013) and Senapathi (2022) helms the crime thriller.

The show tells the story of Daya (JD Chakravarthy), whose life turns upside down when he discovers a woman’s body in his van. In a statement, the actor said, "At first, I was taken aback by the concept as it is not something you think of everyday. It was not just the script that made me want to be a part of this story, but it was a series of inspiring moments in the story that fascinated me and only a director with great prowess is capable of that. I feel grateful to have received a layered and nuanced character like Dayaa for this milestone in my career."

The series will be available to stream from August 4 in Hindi, Tamil, Malayalam, Kannada, Bengali and Marathi.
