Kunchako Boban, who has been on a winning streak lately in terms of box office credentials and acclaim as a performer, is set for his next release with the action thriller Chaaver (2023). The Nna Thaan Case Kodu actor will be seen playing a rugged, mustache twirling gangster.
The actor known mostly for his family friendly affair is teaming up with director Tinu Pappachan, mostly known for his work in stylised, slick action entertainers like Swathanthryam Ardharathriyil (2018) and Ajagajantharam (2021). The trailer offers a peek into its plot set against the backdrop of communal politics in kerala.
The film also stars Anthony Pepe, Arjun Ashokan and Sangeetha in supporting roles. The trailer captures a specific tonal rythm and high octane action sequences that are a trademark of the directors work.
