VD 12: Vijay Deverakonda’s Next With Gowtam Tinnanuri Is A Spy Film

On Vijay Deverakonda’s birthday, the makers of his upcoming film, which is tentatively titled VD 12, released a poster. VD 12 is helmed by Gautam Tinnanuri of Jersey (2019) fame. The film went on floors last week after a pooja ceremony.  

The poster, which features a drawing of Devarakonda’s eyes, has the quote, “Don’t know where I belong to tell you whom I betrayed - anonymous spy”. While the launch poster suggested that Devarakonda will be playing a cop, the makers have now confirmed that it will be a spy film. “A tale of every spy can end up being a conspiracy theory. But their truth can never be disregarded!🎖🔥Wishing our Rowdy, THE #VijayDeverakonda, a very Happy Birthday from team #VD12 ✨,” producer Vamsi wrote on Twitter. 

After Jersey, Tinnanuri reunites with Anirudh Ravichander and editor Navin Nooli for this film, while Girish Ganagadharan will handle the camera. The film is bankrolled by Naga Vamsi and Sai Soujanya under the banner Sithara Entertainments and Fortune Four Cinemas.
