The opening single-take sequence which captures the aftermaths of a train accident has been one of the major highlights of Vetri Maaran’s Viduthalai. The intentionally unpredictable camera movement and the long sequence ensure that the happenings deeply impact the viewers. As the scene became the talk of the town, the makers have now released the making video. 

Unveiling the video on Twitter, the production house RS Infotainment wrote, “A peak into the immense planning that went behind the scenes for the breathtaking single take train sequence🔥”

Viduthalai Part 1 Review: Reasonably Low-Impact For Vetri Maaran, But Still A Brutal Film

The one-and-a-half-minute video shows the behind-the-scenes of how the set with railway tracks and the train was made, and how meticulously the wreck was staged. Vetri Maaran is seen discussing with Vijay Sethupathi and the rest of the crew. Later, we are also shown a slo-mo of how a train compartment falls and a few other scenes. 

Viduthalai Part 1 stars Soori, Vijay Sethupathi, Bhavani Sre and Gautham Vasudev Menon. While R Velraj has lensed the film, Ilaiyaraaja has scored the music.
