Why Kajol Refused to do Salaam Venky

At the trailer launch event of Kajol and Vishal Jethwa starrer Salaam Venky, the actress revealed, why she had refused to do the film earlier.

"I refused this film for three days!" Kajol exclaims. "I was like, I'm not doing this film. I don't want to do a film in which anything happens to my children. I cannot handle that and I don't want to handle it."

Salaam Venky is a story of a doting mother (Kajol) who looks after her terminally ill son Venky (played by Jethwa). The film also sees Aamir Khan in a cameo. Directed by Revathy the film is scheduled to release on December 9.
