The makers of the upcoming Prabhas-starrer Radhe Shyam have released the first single from the film titled 'Ee Raathale' in Telugu. The song has been released in four languages. While the vocalist, Harini Ivaturi, has lent her voice in all languages, Yuvan Shankar Raja has sung the Telugu and Tamil versions and Nihal Sadiq has sung the Kannada and Malayalam versions.
The song is set to the tunes by Justin Prabhakaran. It is penned by a different lyricist in each language – Krishna Kanth (Telugu), Karky (Tamil), Dhananjay Ranjan (Kannada) and Joe Paul (Malayalam). However, a Hindi version of the song has not been released.
A lyrical video with animated visuals based on Prabhas and Pooja Hegde released. The song itself is about two lovers and whether it's written in their destiny to meet. The song wonders who the inseparable travellers in life are when Pooja Hegde is in a train and sees Prabhas in a pink car outside. As the chorus says these lines of fate are playing hide and seek, the train derails and Prabhas takes Pooja away in a bright pink car and they travel through the 'universe'. The video also leaves clues to the film such as a stethoscope, a drowning and an asteroid falling on a Saturn ring!
This film has two sets of music directors – Mithoon and Manan Bharadwaj composing for the Hindi version; and Justin Prabhakaran for the Telugu, Tamil, Kannada and Malayalam versions. Resul Pookutty has been roped in for sound design
In a teaser that was launched previously, Prabhas was introduced as a palmist named Vikramaditya. He says in the teaser "I am no God. But I am not one of you either." The film looks like it will be a period love story set in Europe. The film also stars Pooja Hegde, playing the character of Prerna. In an earlier video, she is seen asking Prabhas if he is a romeo, to which he replies "I'm not that type"
The film will be released in five languages – Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, Malayalam and Hindi. Written and directed by Radha Krishna Kumar, who made the much-loved Jil, the film is being shot by Manoj Paramahamsa and edited by Kotagiri Venkateswara Rao. The film is produced by UV Creations and T-Series and presented by Dr. U V Krishnam Raju.
