The Jayam Ravi – Nivetha Pethuraj starrer Tik Tik Tik, directed by Shakti Soundar Rajan, is the big Tamil release of the week. It is being credited as India's first space film and continues director Shakti's tryst with unexplored genres. His previous association with Ravi was Miruthan, a zombie film. Tik Tik Tik will be released in close to 400 screens across Tamil Nadu and the Telugu states with a dubbed version. To get into the right frame of mind to direct a space film, these are the books, movies and songs, Shakti devoured:
