When two superstars share a stage at a big event amongst hundreds of screaming fans, the excitement is bound to be limitless. This is what happened at Bharat Ane Nenu's audio launch (Bharat Bahiranga Sabha) at the LB Stadium in Hyderabad. Junior NTR was the chief guest at the audio and trailer launch of the Mahesh Babu film, directed by Koratala Siva. Siva is among the few directors who has had the opportunity to direct both Mahesh and NTR in Srimanthudu and Janatha Garage, respectively. Both were blockbusters.

While introducing the album, NTR said that he hoped Bharat Ane Nenu would emerge a grand success at the box office. He also had the kindest words for Mahesh. "He may be 'Prince' and 'Superstar' to all of you but I address Mahesh as 'Anna'. Mahesh Anna is an inspiration because despite being a big commercial star with great box office stamina, he continues to do a lot of experimental films irrespective of the end result."

"Koratala Siva is like my guardian, a dear friend, well-wisher, brother and much more. He cares so much for the society. In his films, he ensures that there are gallery pleasing mass masala elements as well as good messages for the society," he added.

When it was Mahesh's turn to speak, he pointed to how wonderful it was that the superstars of the Telugu industry were gracious enough to support each other's work. "This actually feels like attending the film's success event and not like a pre-release event. I had attended NTR's Aadhi audio launch long back, now he has graced my film's event. There are hardly 5 to 6 big heroes in our industry and each of us does a film a year. It's a positive thing for the industry to see such camaraderie and unity among big heroes," he said.

He continued to speak about being nervous at the thought of playing a chief minister, but couldn't resist Siva's story. He was confident that like Srimanthudu, this film would be a turning point for him. "I was nervous about playing a chief minister; I have distanced myself from politics all along. But I was inspired by the story. Bharat Ane Nenu will be my finest performance ever."

"Coming to Devi Sri Prasad, the 'Bharat theme song' and 'Vachaadayyo Saami' are two of my career's best songs. The music in my film is so vastly different from what he gave in Rangasathalam. I was surprised by the variety and contrast that he could offer in such a short time span."

Mahesh also introduced Kiara Advani, who's done Hindi films before but will be making her Telugu debut in this film.

The trailer of Bharat Ane Nenu, titled interestingly as 'The Journey of Bharat' (the teaser was called 'The Vision of Bharat'), promises powerful scenes, sharp dialogues, and fight sequences for the hero. Words like reformer, statesman and guardian are used to describe his character Bharat – a chief minister who takes an uncommon path to help the common man. After the audio launch, the Bharat Ane Nenu team had a party, where Ram Charan also joined Mahesh and NTR.

Bharat Ane Nenu, produced by DVV Danayya, will release on April 20.
