Jai Mummy Di Trailer Talk: It’s War Of The Moms In The Latest From The Luv Ranjan School Of Rom Com

The trailer for Jai Mummy Di, which has been produced by Luv Ranjan, is here.

While the film is written and directed by Navjot Gulati, it has all the markings of Ranjan's brand of conflict-fuelled rom-com, which has become something of a genre itself.

A few seconds into the trailer you know exactly what you're in for. What happens when the kids of two warring women fall in love? The film stars Luv Ranjan-favourites Sunny Singh and Sonnalli Seygall, with Poonam Dhillon and Supriya Pathak as the two mothers constantly at loggerheads (referred to as Mogambo and Gabbar).

When the couple don't have the courage to tell their respective mothers, they resort to various antics to get their blessings. Going by the trailer, it appears Sunny Singh is once again playing the role of the lovable chump which he seems to have perfected in films like Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety (2018) and De De Pyaar De (2019).

Produced by T Series and Luv Films, the film releases on January 17th.
