Aa Okkati Adakku Teaser: Allari Naresh Back To His Comic Roots

Allari Naresh was looked at as a minimum guarantee hero in the late 2000s to early 2010s. He was great at making easily accessible comedies at reasonable budgets. But that formula has stopped working for him and hence he tried his hands at some serious roles with Naandhi (2021) and Ugram (2023) with mixed results. He seems to be returning to his comedy roots with his new film Aa Okkati Adakku, for which the teaser dropped recently. 

The teaser opens with an astrologer setting a marriage deadline for Allari Naresh's character, stating that failure to marry before the deadline will result in a lifetime of bachelorhood. However, things change when Faria Abdullah's character enters his life. As they fall in love, Naresh's character proposes marriage, but Faria's character hesitats, saying, “Aa Okkati Adakku (Please don’t ask me about it).” The teaser promises a blend of humour and romance, 

The primary cast includes Vennela Kishore, Jamie Lever, Harsha Chemudu and Ariyana Glory. Rajiv Chilaka is producing the movie under the banner of Chilaka Productions, while Bharath Laxmipati is the co-producer. The music will be composed by Gopi Sundar and Suryaa will be the DOP. The film is set to hit screens in the summer.
