Abhishek Bachchan is busy with the promotions of his film Ghoomer, where his character is the coach to a differently abled cricketer played by Saiyami Kher.
In an interview with IndiaToday.in, Bachchan was asked if there was a possibility of Dhoom 4 in the near future. The actor responded “Not that I know of. If Dhoom 4 was being made, Adi (Aditya Chopra) would have told us. I can’t confirm or deny it but I am pretty sure I would have been told if he is making one.”
Bachchan played a police officer, Jay Dixit in the Dhoom franchise. The first film Dhoom (2004) featured Bachchan, Uday Chopra as his sidekick Ali, and John Abraham as the antagonist. Bachchan and Chopra reprised their roles in Dhoom 2 (2006) which featured Hrithik Roshan and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, and Dhoom 3 (2013) which starred Aamir Khan in a double role and Katrina Kaif.
