Aftab Shivdasani Joins Akshay Kumar’s Welcome To The Jungle

Aftab Shivdasani is the latest in the long list of stars that have already been announced for Akshay Kumar’s upcoming comedy Welcome To The Jungle. After co-starring with Kumar in the hilarious Awara Paagal Deewana (2002), Shivdasani celebrated his entry into the Welcome franchise by sharing an endearing set of selfies with Kumar on his Instagram, with the caption: “First Photo taken 16 years apart (2008 & 2024). As you can see, nothing has changed. Thank you ‘Awara’ for ‘welcome’-ing this ‘Deewana’ to this ‘Paagal’ Jungle!”

Besides Kumar and Shivdasani, Welcome To The Jungle’s ensemble cast also includes Sanjay Dutt, Suniel Shetty, Arshad Warsi, Tusshar Kapoor, Shreyas Talpade, Paresh Rawal, Raveena Tandon, Lara Dutta, Jacqueline Fernandez and Disha Patani. The film, directed by Ahmed Khan, is slated to release on December 20, 2024. 

Meanwhile, Kumar was last seen in the actioner Bade Miyan Chote Miyan alongside Tiger Shroff, which clashed with Ajay Devgn’s sports drama Maidaan.
