Akshay Kumar and Arshad Warsi to start filming for Jolly LLB 3 in February 2024

Filming for Jolly LLB 3, starring Arshad Warsi and Akshay Kumar, will begin in February 2024. Interestingly, Warsi and Kumar have both played the character of Jolly. Warsi played it in Jolly LLB (2013) and Kumar in Jolly LL.B 2 (2017). While Warsi’s character was Jagdish ‘Jolly’ Tyagi, a lawyer based in Delhi, Kumar’s character was Jagdishwar ‘Jolly’ Mishra, a lawyer based in Lucknow. 

A source close to the project told Pinkvilla, “Subhash Kapoor has completed the screenplay and will kick off the pre-production at the end of this year. The third instalment presents a clash between good and evil within the context of a courtroom. Like its previous parts, Jolly LLB 3 will also offer an engaging courtroom drama with the perfect blend of humour, suspense, and a pertinent social issue for debate. The director has ingeniously crafted a storyline that justifies the presence of both Jollys, and they are excited about returning to the courtroom setting after a six-year hiatus.” 

Jolly LLB and Jolly LL.B 2, both featured the character of Jolly, a small-time lawyer who is forced by circumstances to take up a case of legal and social significance. Warsi and Kumar will also be working together in Welcome to the Jungle.
