Akshay Kumar congratulates Shah Rukh Khan on Jawan's success, says our films are back

Akshay Kumar congratulated Shah Rukh Khan on the fabulous box office performance of his film Jawan. Kumar took to X, formerly Twitter and reposted a news report about the film crossing the Rs 500 crore mark in worldwide collections. Kumar added a caption to his tweet and wrote, "What massive success!! Congratulations my Jawan Pathaan @iamsrk. Our films are back and how."

Khan responded to Kumar's post and thanked him for his prayers and good wishes. He replied, "Aap ne Dua maangi na hum sab ke liye toh kaise khaali jayegi. (You had prayed for all of us, how could your prayer go unfulfilled) All the best and stay healthy Khiladi! Love u."

Kumar's film OMG 2 was released on August 11, and in spite of stiff competition from Gadar 2 and an 'A' certificate from the Central Board of Film Certification, the film has earned Rs 219.6 crores in worldwide gross box office collections.
