Akshay Kumar’s Soorarai Pottru remake’s new release date out

Akshay Kumar’s Soorarai Pottru remake has gotten a new release date. Originally the film was supposed to release on September 1 this year but has been now shifted to February 16, 2024.

Soorarai Pottru (2020) was a fictionalised version of a book called Simply Fly based on the life of Air Deccan founder Capt. G. R. Gopinath. The original starred Suriya as Nedumaaran Rajangam. It also starred Paresh Rawal, Aparna Balamurali, and Urvashi.

The remake is directed by Sudha Kongara Prasad and also stars Rawal, Radhika Madan, and R Sarathkumar.
