Alia Bhatt Begins Filming for Vasan Bala Film Jigra

Alia Bhatt has begun filming for her upcoming film Jigra. Jigra is co-produced by Bhatt's company Eternal Sunshine Productions and Karan Johar's Dharma Productions.

The actor shared behind-the-scenes pictures from the first day of the film's shoot on her Instagram page. Bhatt added pictures of herself getting into hair and makeup, a picture with her sister Shaheen Bhatt, a monochrome photo of the shoes her character wears, a picture of director Vasan Bala at work, and the film's clapboard.

Bhatt added a caption while sharing the pictures and wrote, " & we're rolling .. day one of bringing our Jigra to life.. stay tuned as we bring to you a piece of our hearts.. fingers and toes crossed for the journey aheaddddddd ..love TEAM JIGRA"

Jigra is directed by Bala and produced by Johar, Bhatt, Apoorva Mehta and Somen Mishra. The film is scheduled to release in theatres on September 27, 2024.
