Alia Bhatt Confirmed to star in Actress Madhubala’s Biopic

Alia Bhatt has been confirmed to star in one of the most anticipated projects, the biopic of one of the most beautiful actresses, Madhubala, titled Madhubala.

Sony Pictures has backed the project and will be helmed by Jasmeet K Reen, who made her directorial debut with Darlings starring Shefali Shah and Vijay Varma. Sony Pictures International Productions will collaborate with Brewing Thoughts P Ltd and Madhubala Ventures for the film.

The film will see Bhatt essaying the role of 'Madhubala' on screen will pay a heartfelt tribute to the illustrious icon of Indian cinema. Madhubala’s sister Madhur Brij Bhushan and Arvind Kumar Malviya from Madhubala Ventures are the co-producers on the film. The details pertaining to the rest of the cast is yet to be finalised by the makers.
