Arjun Kapoor joins Rohity Shetty's Cop Universe with Ajay Devgn's Singham Again

As per a report in Bollywood Hungama, Arjun Kapoor is joining Rohit Shetty's cop universe with the film Singham Again. Kapoor will not be playing a cop, but the antagonist of the film, who will face off against Singham, Simmba, and Sooryavanshi played by Ajay Devgn, Ranveer Singh, and Akshay Kumar. Deepika Padukone's female super-cop character will also reportedly be a part of Singham Again.

The source told the portal, "Yes, Arjun Kapoor is joining Rohit Shetty cop universe and this is the biggest surprise which Rohit and his team have kept under wraps. However, the twist in the tale is the fact that Arjun is playing the part of a villain and not the hero. Arjun will be the villain against the 4 supercops - Singham, Simmba, Sooryavanshi and Lady Singham."

Kapoor has reportedly started preparing for the role with Shetty and his team. "Rohit is very particular about his casting and is going all out to make this the biggest film of Indian cinema. He brought the biggest stars of Indian cinema on board and is all ready to blast the box office with this action-packed thriller," the source added

Singham Again is the third film in the Singham franchise after Singham (2011) and Singham Returns (2014), and the fifth film from Shetty's cop universe after Singham, Singham Returns, Simmba (2018) and Sooryavanshi (2021).
