Ayushmann Khurrana to start filming for Sourav Ganguly Biopic in December

As per a report in Mid Day, Ayushmann Khurrana will be playing the role of Sourav Ganguly in his biopic. Ganguly is one of India’s most respected cricketers who also successfully captained the Indian cricket team. 

The film will be directed by Aishwaryaa Rajinikanth and shooting for the project is likely to begin in December this year. Khurrana will undergo intense training to prepare for the role. While he is already a left-handed batsman like Ganguly, Khurrana will need to perfect the cricketer’s mannerisms, batting style, stance and other details. 

Khurrana’s latest release Dream Girl 2 is running successfully in theatres.
