Ayushmann Khurrana’s Dream Girl 2 makes 40.71 crores over opening weekend

Ayushmann Khurrana’s film Dream Girl 2, which was released on August 25, earned Rs 40.71 crores at the Indian box office over its opening weekend. Dream Girl 2 opened with earnings of Rs 10.69 crores on day one, saw substantial growth on day two with earnings of Rs 14.02 crores and a further leap on day three with collections of Rs 16 crores. The film’s Indian box office nett collection at the end of the opening weekend (August 25-27) was Rs 40.71 crores.

Celebrating the positive response from audiences, Khurrana shared a post on his Instagram page with a graphic that includes the film’s box office collection and him doing a dance step with co-star Anaya Panday from the film’s song ‘Naach’. He captioned his post, “Current mood: NAACH!

Dream Girl 2 also stars Vijay Raaz, Paresh Rawal, Annu Kapoor, Seema Bhargava Pahwa and others. The film is directed by Raaj Shaandilyaa and produced by Ektaa R Kapoor and Shobha Kapoor.
