Bawaal Trailer: Varun Dhawan and Janhvi Kapoor’s love story has World War II connections

The trailer for Varun Dhawan and Janhvi Kapoor starrer Bawaal was released worldwide at a trailer launch event in Dubai. Prime Video shared the trailer on their social media with the caption, “pyaar se bawaal tak ka ek safar! produced by #SajidNadiadwala and directed by @niteshtiwari22 #BawaalOnPrime, July 21. trailer out now”.

The trailer promises a love story with a twist. The twist being its connections to World War II. Dhawan plays a history teacher who marries Kapoor’s character. The couple goes on a Europe tour where the relationship goes haywire. The blend of World War II and internal conflict is shown in scenes that blur the line between past and present.

Directed by Nitesh Tiwari and produced by Sajid Nadiadwala, Bawaal streams exclusively on Prime Video from July 21.
