Bhumi Pednekar’s upcoming Investigative Drama Bhakshak to Release on this date

Bhumi Pednekar will next be seen in a crime drama Bhakshak which will drop on streaming giant Netflix. The film which also stars Sanjay Mishra, Aditya Srivastava and Sai Tamhankar in key roles is an investigative drama which explores the journey of an unwavering woman’s quest to seek justice. Pednekar as Vaishali Singh portrays the role of an investigative journalist who wants to bring to light a heinous crime, laying bare the ground reality of crimes against women. “Our aim was to shed light on the harsh realities of society and spark conversations that lead to meaningful change,” director Pulkit shares. “I'm looking forward to more people joining this important dialogue.”

Inspired by true events, Netflix’s upcoming crime drama Bhakshak premieres on February 9 and is set to cut deep. The film is a Red Chillies Entertainment production, directed by Pulkit and produced by Gauri Khan and Gaurav Verma.
