Blue Star Trailer: Ashok Selvan And Shanthnu Bhagyaraj Face-Off In The Sports Drama

Ashok Selvan is one of the most promising actors in Tamil cinema, known for his quirky sensibilities to the script he attaches his name to. The actor will be next headlining the sports drama Blue Star, which deals with the trials and tribulations in the life of two men hailing from backward communities trying to make it big in their local cricket selection. The team released the trailer which offers a glimpse into the rivalry between two youngsters who are trying to secure their lives through the sport, as they also face caste and class based oppression. Blue Star co-stars Shanthnu Bhagyaraj. Keerthi Pandian and Dhivya Dhuraisamy in other pivotal roles.

The sports film written and directed by S Jayakumar is bankrolled by Lemon Leaf Creation Pvt Ltd. & Neelam Productions. Director PA Ranjith is presenting this film which is co-written by Tamil Prabha of Sarpatta Parambarai (2021) fame. The song titled ‘Railin Oligal’ from the film was released a few months back and created much hype on social media for the lead pair’s chemistry on screen. Govind Vasantha has composed the music for the film, while Thamizh A. Azhagan has cranked the camera. Blue Star is all set to be released in theatres on January 25.
