It has been announced that the Malayalam film Bramayugam, which hit screens last Friday, will be getting a Telugu release. The dubbed version is set to be released on February 23, with Suryadevara Naga Vamsi distributing it through, Sithara Entertainments, the production house that also released the Telugu version of Lokesh Kanagaraj's Leo last October.

The film directed by Rahul Sadasivan, is a supernatural drama shot in black and white and features Mammootty as the lead, while Arjun Ashokan and Siddharath Bharathan play crucial roles. Produced by Chakravarthy Ramachandra and S Sashikanth through YNot Studios and Night Shift Studios, the film was met with positive critical reception. Set in the 17th century, the film tells the story of a singer who finds himself entrapped by in a mansion where nothing seems to be normal.

Bramayugam is Rahul's third directorial feature following Red Rain and Bhoothakalam. The film has music by Christo Xavier while Shehnad Jalal is the cinemtographer.
