Chiranjeevi’s Mega156 Officially Launched; Music Sessions Commence

The makers of Chiranjeevi’s next film with director Vassishta Mallidi recently announced have officially launched the film. The film, tentatively titled Mega156 was launched with a formal pooja ceremony on the occasion on Vijayadashami.

Academy Award winner MM Keeravani, who would be providing music for the film, mentioned that the team was bringing back the tradition of commencing production with music recording sessions, before kickstarting filming, like the "good old days" in Telugu cinema.

Mega156 is billed as a socio-fantasy film and is expected to be the the star’s most expensive film to date. It is directed by Vasshishta, who helmed last year's hit fantasy actioner, Bimbisara. The film is backed by Vikram, Vamsi, and Pramod under the UV Creations banner. The film’s technical crew includes Chota K Naidu as the cinematographer and Kotagairi Venkateshwar Rao as the editor.
