Dhadak 2: Siddhant Chaturvedi and Triptii Dimri Star in the Sequel

Karan Johar has announced the sequel to his 2018 movie Dhadak titled Dhadak 2 featuring Siddhant Chaturvedi and Triptii Dimri in the lead and directed by Shazia Iqbal.

Sharing the teaser video on his social media handle, Johar wrote, “यह कहानी है थोड़ी अलग क्यूंकि एक था राजा, एक थी रानी - जात अलग थी...ख़तम कहानी. (Once upon a time, there was a king and there was a queen. They were from different castes, and that's the end of the story) Presenting Dhadak 2 starring Siddhant Chaturvedi & Triptii Dimri. Directed by Shazia Iqbal.”

A tragic love story of Nilesh (Chaturvedi) and Vidhi (Dimri) that explores the barriers of class and status stitched in the minds of societies, underscoring a narrative of love that can never be fulfilled.

The film is scheduled to release in theatres on November 22.
