Dhruva Natchathiram Trailer: Chiyaan Vikram Is A Covert Agent

Director Gautham Vasudev Menon’s much-awaited action thriller Dhruva Natchathiram is all set to be released on November 24. The makers released the official trailer recently which introduces to us a covert team of trained agents called ‘The Basement’. They are tasked with combatting terrorism after the Attacks of 26/11 and the film is supposed to be the first part, titled Chapter 1: Yuddhakandam.

Chiyaan Vikram stars as John, an agent in the eleven-member team. The film also introduces the characters played by R Parthiban, Simran, and Ritu Varma. Malayalam actor Vinayakan, who was recently seen in Rajinikanth’s Jailer plays the antagonist, while director GVM makes a small appearance. Cricket metaphors are plenty in the trailer, with an action sequence also teased to be set around a cricket ground.

Produced by GVM, Dhruva Natchathiram - Chapter 1: Yuddhakandam's technical crew consists of cinematographer Manoj Paramahamsa, SR Kathir, and others (due to its long production) while the music is by Harris Jayaraj, who returns to collaborate with Menon after eight years. The film was under production for over five years and is finally all set to hit the screens.
