Ektaa R Kapoor to Collaborate with Rhea Kapoor, Kareena Kapoor Khan and Bhumi Pednekar

Ektaa R Kapoor's upcoming films as a producer include two collaborations with Rhea Kapoor. The first is a film starring Bhumi Pednekar and the second is The Crew which stars Kareena Kapoor Khan, Tabu and Kriti Sanon. Kapoor and Khan are also co-producing a thriller directed by Hansal Mehta, with Khan playing the lead role.

Sharing details about each of these films, Kapoor said, "I'm doing a film with Rhea Kapoor, which is a coming-of-age story of a girl in her early thirties who is fighting conditioning versus individuality. It stars Bhumi Pednekar. The Hansal Mehta Kareena starrer is an untitled Nordic Noir thriller. We are bringing back one of my favourite franchises, LSD 2 (Love Sex Aur Dhoka 2). Then we have The Crew which is a comedy with three top actresses headlining the film. And Dream Girl 2 is a mass comedy."

Kapoor, who also produces television shows added, "I don't like to stick to genres in films. I have to do a lot of that on television. So, this gives me a break from doing the same kind of content."

Dream Girl 2, Kapoor's next film as a producer, releases on August 25. She also produced U-turn starring Alaya F and co-produced Kathal with Sikhya Entertainment starring Sanya Malhotra this year.
