Ram Pothineni is gearing up for the release of his next Double iSmart, which is a sequel to the 2019 hit film iSmart Shankar. It is directed by Puri Jagannadh and the makers recently announced that the team has completed their shooting schedule. The film co-stars Sanjay Dutt and Kavya Thapar. It has music by Mani Sharma. 

Netflix Documentary on SS Rajamouli to release on August 2 (Telugu) 

Titled Modern Masters: SS Rajamouli, the Netflix documentary about the RRR director will be out on August 2. It is said to feature anecdotes and insights about the director from artistes like James Cameron, Joe Russo and Karan Johar. The documentary is also expected to include a few behind-the-scenes footage from his films Eega, Baahubali and RRR. 

Atharvaa-Nimisha Sajayan’s DNA to Have Music By Five Composers (Tamil)

Singers Sathyaprakash, Anal Akash Sreekanth Hariharan, Pravin Saivi and Sahi Siva have been onboarded to compose music for DNA, starring Atharvaa and Nimisha Sajayan. The film is directed by Nelson Venkatesan and co-stars Ramesh Thilak and Balaji Sakthivel. 

Prequel for Bimbisara on cards (Telugu)

Nandamuri Kalyan Ram’s Bimbisara is all set to get a prequel. The film's makers made the official announcement on the actor's birthday. While the original action fantasy film was helmed by Mallidi Vasshistha, Anil Paduri has been on boarded to direct the prequel. The makers also released a concept poster.

First look of Rashmika Mandanna from Kubera is out (Telugu)

It's a known news that Dhanush and Sekhar Kammula joined hands for Kubera. The team has now unveiled Rashmika Mandanna's character poster, along with a short video that offers a glimpse at her actions. Kubera also stars Nagarjuna and Jim Sarbh in key roles.
