First Look Of Vijay Antony's Romeo Out

Vijay Anthony has announced his next film after Kolai (2023) and it is his first attempt at doing a romantic entertainer. The actor took to his social media handles to share the update about the pan Indian film titled Romeo (2023), which will also be bankrolled by his newly launched production house, Good Devil Productions.

He will also be handling editing responsibilities on the film. The actor shared the first look poster for the film on his Twitter and wrote, "Thank you to the people who wanted to see me as a romantic hero, as well as to the press and media friends. Your request has been granted.”

He has been mostly known for his more serious attempts off late in films like Tamilarasan (2023), and Pichaikkaran 2 (2023), all of which featured him in more dramatic roles.

Romeo is written and directed by debutant Vinayak Vaithianathan known for helming the popular youtube series Kadhal Distancing (2020). The film will feature an ensemble cast consisting of Mirnalini Ravi, VTV Ganesh, Thalaivasal Vijay, Ilavarasu, Sudha and Sreeja Ravi. The film is titled Love Guru in Telugu.

The shooting will take place extensively around locations in Malaysia, Bangkok, Hyderabad, Bangalore and Mahabalipuram. The cinematography is being handled by Farook J Basha while the musical score is being composed by Barath Dhanasekar.The film is currently under production and is expected to hit the screens by the summer next year.
