G Squad: Lokesh Kanagaraj Turns Producer

Lokesh Kanagaraj, who will next be working on his 6th film Thalaivar 171 with Rajinikanth, recently launched his own production company. Named "G Squad", the director took to Twitter to make the announcement.

He wrote, "After directing 5 films, I am delighted to announce the launch of my own production venture - G Squad, dedicated towards redefining the landscape of storytelling and entertainment."

The director further noted that the first few productions will feature work of his close friends and assistants. On the work front, after a successful theatrical run, Kanagaraj's film Leo starring Vijay was released on Netflix last week.
