Gujarati Film Tron Ekka makes 5.75Cr in the first Opening Weekend

Gujarati film Tron Ekka has registered a massive opening weekend number to be Rs. 5.75 Cr. The film starrs the superhit trio of Yash Soni, Malhar Thakar, and Mitra Gadhvi.

Trade Analyst Komal Nahata said, “Anand Pandit and Vaishal Shah's Gujarati film, 3 Ekka, is such an entertaining fare. The scripting is fresh. Rajesh Sharma's direction is very good. And the performances by all the lead actors is par excellence. Destined to score very well! The film opened to excellent houses all over Gujarat and Saurashtra on 25th August.”

Pandit says, "The audience’s love is the fourth ace behind Tron Ekka’s success! It vindicates my belief that we need to bring back wholesome family entertainers on the big screen and tell stories that feel both familiar and fresh. The rise of regional content in India, including the success of Tron Ekka and before that of Fakt Mahilao Mate (2022) proves that the audience wants relatable and yet unique stories from different cultural milieus."

Pandit further adds, "I wanted to bring together Yash Soni, Malhar Thakar, and Mitra Gadhvi in a film but was waiting for the right script. This theme of three friends caught in a web of their own making was a perfect opportunity to cast them together, and they have sensational chemistry! They recently made a surprise visit to a theatre and the audience’s response was overwhelming."

The film is directed by Rajesh Singh and co-produced by Vaishal Shah's Jannock Films.
