Halitha Shameem Releases the First-Look Poster of 'Minmini'

Halitha Shameem released the first-look poster for her next release Minmini (2023) on her birthday. The project is special for the filmmaker, as it's been a long gestating dream that has been shot over seven years to trace the natural aging of the actors involved. The poster features the lead stars of the film, Esther Anil and Gaurav Kalai in frame, with a shot of two bikers in the background and the title font design reflecting life in the mountain side.

The film is touted to be a road film that is based on the coming-of-age journey of two youngsters coming to terms with their survivor's guilt. The director who made her debut with Poovarasam Peepee (2014) and Sillu Karupatti (2019) among others, is coming out with her most ambitious film till date. AR Rahman’s daughter Khadija Rahman will be composing the music for the film, which will have cinematography by Manoj Paramahamsa, who is also bankrolling the film alongside Anchor Bay studios.
